The mailing list is both English and German. Most subscribers speak both languages or at least English.

1. Du schickst eine Vorstellungsmail an video@lists.ccc.de – Darin sollte stehen aus welcher Stadt/Region du kommst, was du grob so machst (z.B. Programmiersprachen) und für welche Teilgebiete du dich interessierst.
   
   1. Please introduce yourself with a short mail to video@lists.ccc.de. Things that are helpful to know are city/region you live in, favorite programming languages and which parts of the VOC are most interesting for you
2. Du schickst eine leere Mail an video-subscribe@lists.ccc.de
   2. Send an empty mail to video-subscribe@lists.ccc.de
3. Du bekommst eine Mail von EZLM: Antworte auf diese Mail zurück an EZLM
   3. Follow the instructions you get via mail from the EZLM – AKA: Send a reply to EZLM.
4. EZLM schickt uns eine Mail mit dem Request
   4. EZLM will inform us about your request
5. Wir antworten auf die Mail aus 4 und EZLM setzt dich auf die Liste.
   5. We can add you to the list
